Commissioned especially for Ynyshir by Muzuriware - The pinch bowl is made using a black stoneware with a larger grain of calcined river sediment and grog (ground fired clay) - pinched and trimmed by hand. To maintain the rough organic edges and texture yet provide a smoother central recess - a secondary fine meshed clay has been impressed and burnished into the bowl (which can be seen through the emphasised colour gradient). Lined with a tin white glaze and dripped exterior.
Fireed to 1230℃. Oxidation.
